Does it actually speak in meetings, or just transcribe?
It speaks. It joins as a real participant with a chosen name and voice, listens to the conversation, and responds aloud when called on by name.
Can I give it our past meeting transcripts?
Yes. Paste or upload them and it carries every word, and who said it, into the next meeting. Ask it what was decided three meetings ago and it tells you.
How expert can it be?
As expert as the material you give it. Product docs make it a product specialist; a role playbook and the executive persona make it a CMO or a CEO the room can consult.
What meeting platforms does it work with?
Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. No browser extension required. Just paste a meeting link.
Will it talk over me or interrupt?
No. Strict mode means it only responds when called by name.
Where does the meeting archive live, and who owns it?
On Neato's servers at DigitalOcean. Every transcript, summary, and memory is tied to your account and kept separate from everyone else's, and the archive belongs to you: ask and we'll export or delete it. Meeting audio is captured by our meeting-bot provider, and summaries are written by AI models from Anthropic. We never train models on your conversations. The Security & data page has the full detail.
